Shipping Policy

Common Motor is a very small and specialized team of real people from Houston, Texas. We are dedicated to bringing you the best service, parts and technical information possible to enable YOU, the DIY wrencher, to work on your vintage Honda motorcycle. We take pride in being a small independent business, not Amazon or Wal-Mart, and we thank you for your support and understanding.

We try our best to ship your package within 48 hours of receiving your order. Our shipping days are Monday - Friday, so if you make an order over the weekend please note that it won’t be processed until the following business day. Shipping days are considered Monday - Friday. Holidays, Saturday and Sunday are not included.

In the off case that a part is on back order, we will update you via email that your order has been placed on hold. If the back ordered part will be available within a reasonable amount of time we will hold the entire order until it arrives; otherwise we will split the order and ship the back ordered part once it has arrived.

If you need to modify your order, for example add/remove a part, change your address or consolidate multiple orders please contact us. Although we will try our best to accommodate your request we can not guarantee we will intercept it before your order goes out the door. Modifying or consolidating orders may add additional time to the final delivery. Please allow an additional 48 hours of processing time from when you submit your order modification request.

Delivery times may vary. The estimated delivery date is an estimate only and does not guarantee delivery by a specific date or time. We cannot refund shipping charges for shipments arriving past the estimated delivery date.

You will be sent a tracking number to the email address provided at time of checkout once your order has been processed with the USPS.

We offer a Free Shipping Promotion for domestic orders within the United States of $125. Common Motor will select the carrier and shipping method of our choice. There are various criteria and exclusions to the promotion, such as minimum order amounts and over-sized products such as mufflers and tires. Parts excluded from the free shipping promotion are noted on their respective parts page. If any of these excluded items are in the cart the free shipping option may not display. For more information on these restrictions please contact us. Common Motor reserves the right to cancel or modify this promotion at anytime.

Common Motor does not offer overnight, next day shipping, weekend or holiday shipping options and we do not substitute shipping carriers upon request.
