The Honda CT90 motorcycles use a battery operated electrical system with a fixed magnet alternator for charging. The ignition system is a single point set up and is battery operated as well (no magneto). The ignition coil and condenser are located deep inside the frame and can only be accessed by removing the battery tray and unbolting the gas tank. The ignition system is very sensitive and must have components that are properly adjusted for the engine to run its best.
