In this video we show you how to change the fork oil on a 1974 Honda CB360 while keeping the forks on the bike. The CL360 and CJ360 use the same procedure. This technique can be applied to the CB350 and CB450s as well, however their forks are slightly different. Fork oil should be changed out every year and we recommend motorcycle specific fork oil. 10w for riders under 200lbs. and 15w for riders over.
How much to put back in. Doing it this way, with the forks still on the bike, the CB360 and CL360 take 135 - 140cc (4.6 - 4.7 ozs.) per leg and the CJ360 takes 120cc (4.1 ozs.) per leg.
