Yes it is possible to run a modern street tire on your vintage Honda CB or CL scrambler (and may other vintage Japanese motorcycles) we have been doing it for years. Sure they lack the retro styling of the Heidenau Vintage Street and Vintage Scrambler tires, but if you are looking to maximize the handling performance of your Honda CB350 / CB360 / CB450 / CB550 then the Heidenau modern street tires are just the ticket. A leader in motorcycle (and scooter) tires, Heidenau has been making premium top quality tires in Germany for over seven decades. With modern "sticky" rubber compounds and wider tread contact (more than the original Honda spec), the Heidenau modern street tires will keep your motorcycle glued to the pavement whether you are carving out the twisties or clocking long haul miles. We have done the hard work and figured out the proper modern size tires that will fit between the forks and the rear swing arm without any modification for the Honda CB350 / CL350 / CB360 / CL360 / CJ360 / CB450 / CL450 / CB500T / CB550. See our fitment chart below for more details. Tires are tubeless type, which means they will fit a modern one piece motorcycle rim, however since most of the Honda CB's and CL's use spoke style rims, tubes and rim strips will need to be installed (yes it is fine to run a tube inside a tubeless tire). "H" speed rated for up to 130 mph / 210 Km/h at max pressure and weight load.
