We tear into the engine of our 1974 Honda CB450 in preparation for a 1,200 plus mile trip from Houston, TX to Lexington, OH for the 2018 AMA Vintage Days.

In part one we start taking apart the bike removing all the pieces needed to access the top and bottom of the engine for service. Many parts will be changed out during the rebuild process.
In part two of this video we get into the bottom end of the motor addressing the oil filter, rebuilding the clutch and cleaning out any sludge from the bottom of the engine. Then we button it back up with new gaskets and some fresh Allen bolts.
