cb350 will not rev past 4000 rpm

Changed the condensor new points and rebuilt the carbs. Starts with no problen idles well but when I ride it it will not go past 4000 rpm and about 50 mph ?????

  Had the same problem. Make sure your needels slide up with the slide, That is what was giving me trouble.

  I rebuilt my carbs as I had a similar problem but at lower revs and the needle on one carb was stuck.  Haven't installed them yet but hope that's the issue!!
