71 CB350K downshift dies

So even when the bike is nice and warmed up whenever I downshift into first it wants to just idle out and die. I have to rev up to keep it from stalling out on me and can't seem to figure out why. Runs fine in every other gear and shifts fine. I haven't fully rebuilt my carbs since buying it and am suspecting it might be an idle jet but am not sure. Thought I'd ask if anyone else has had this issue or knows what it's about. Thanks!

  Same is happening with my 72 CB350K. I am going to adjust and sync the carbs this weekend. If that doesn't solve it I'm thinking I might go for the shockwave kit.

  Let me know if that works, I haven't bench synced my carbs yet and just have been putting it off. If that fixes it though then I will be doing it as soon as it warms up some more.
